Robert was a beloved father, and grandfather. He was Southern Columbia football’s biggest fan. He never missed a game and when his body became too weak to go his daughter would play the game for him on the radio and listen together. He enjoyed attending the grandchildren’s events, walking, sitting on his porch listening to Neil Diamond, his favorite Bible hymns, and talking to people as they passed by. He also enjoyed volunteering his time at the Kiwanis, and Oppenheimer playgrounds during the summertime.
